ANZSA Sarcoma Clinical Registry

Design

Longitudinal observational cohort study employing a clinical quality registry collecting retrospective and prospective clinical, surgical and oncology data on all patients diagnosed with bone and soft tissue sarcoma and related tumours in Australia. The Registry data will be collected via the ANZSA Sarcoma Clinical Registry (REDCap) database.

Aim

To systematically collect, store, and analyse clinical data on patients diagnosed with bone and soft tissue (BST) sarcomas and related tumours who are managed in sarcoma referral services

Objectives

  • To monitor bone and soft tissue sarcoma and related tumour incidence and prevalence
  • To track patient care through sarcoma referral services
  • To support research including epidemiological studies, patterns of care studies
  • To provide regular reporting on patient demographics, treatment and outcomes
  • To facilitate informing policy and practice guidelines
